Clara & Javi got married in Burgos - a city with that quiet, understated elegance. Historic, grounded, and effortlessly beautiful without needing to prove it.
They started at El Landa, just outside the city. A hotel built around a medieval tower and old stone structures, with thick walls, wood interiors and a very warm, classic atmosphere. Everything leans into that timeless, Castilian elegance - nothing flashy, just solid, beautifully done, and full of character.
Clara got ready upstairs, surrounded by her family, everything calm, beautiful light coming in with a view over the countryside. She’s the kind of person you immediately feel comfortable around - soft energy, always smiling, zero drama.
Javi had a little more movement, friends around and a quick drink before leaving… together they just make the perfect match.
For the ceremony we went to San Nicolás. Classic, big, elegant - but what stood out wasn’t the scale, it was the people. Family involved everywhere, readings, little looks between them, and an angelic choir.
After that, back to El Landa - this time in a classic Mercedes-Benz 560 SL.
We had planned the session down to the last detail - quiet spots, beautiful corners, places where they could be alone and just enjoy a moment together. But when we arrived, there had been a last-minute change: the cocktail had been moved exactly to the area we had in mind. So we improvised everything on the spot. Luckily, El Landa has no shortage of beautiful corners, and Clara and Javi really don’t need much - they’re just beautiful together.
Cocktail started, and this is where the day really opened up. People everywhere, drinks, music, the garden filling up. There was a band, great energy, hot weather and finally, a cold soft drink. We took some candid photos of the guests, many group photos and a lot of photos of Clara and Javi having a blast.
Dinner was elegant, but still very fun. There were gifts, small moments with their families… and then came one of our favorite parts. The bouquet moment.
Not the typical calm handover, but something much more dynamic - a playful chase through the room, weaving between guests and tables, laughter and a lot of spinning napkins.
And then the party.
Clara and Javi had their first dance under a huge weeping willow lit with warm lights. After that, the party began - people gathered beneath it, and slowly everyone let go.
